Warzone to CS2 sensitivity: why it needs your FOV

Call of Duty is the awkward case of sensitivity conversion: its hipfire yaw depends on your field of view, and its ADS behaviour depends on the monitor distance coefficient (MDC). There is no single Warzone-to-CS2 ratio — there is one per FOV, and a different one per ADS configuration. Any converter that gives you a fixed number without asking your FOV is guessing.

The method that works

  1. 1. Measure your Warzone cm/360: mark the pad, perform a full 360° turn, measure the distance.
  2. 2. Keep the same DPI in CS2 and adjust sensitivity until a full turn measures the same.
  3. 3. For ADS, set CS2's zoom_sensitivity_ratio so scoped turns match your Warzone ADS at your usual zoom level — it is a taste setting, not a conversion.

If you use a calculator, feed it your exact FOV and MDC values — with those inputs the good converters are accurate. Without them, every answer is a rough guess.

The monitor distance coefficient, briefly

MDC decides how much slower your aim gets while zoomed: 0% locks 360-degree distance at the zoom level; 133% matches the horizontal edges of a 16:9 monitor. There is no universally correct value — 133% is the common starting recommendation, and competitive players tune it per optic. The setting is CoD-side only; it never changes your CS2 conversion.
