What sensitivity do pro players actually use?
Short answer: far less sensitivity than casual players assume — and remarkably consistent bands per game. We keep a verified database of professional settings (two sources per value, dated), and the same pattern shows up in every title: professionals cluster in a narrow eDPI range, and it maps to a physical turn distance of roughly 30 to 55 centimetres per 360.
The bands, game by game
eDPI is DPI × in-game sensitivity — the quick comparison number within a game. The bands below come from our verified registry:
| Game | Typical pro eDPI | Documented example |
|---|---|---|
| Valorant | 200–400 | TenZ — 320 eDPI (800 DPI × 0.4), ≈ 40.8 cm/360 |
| CS2 | 600–1200 | donk — 1000 eDPI (800 DPI × 1.25), ≈ 36.9 cm/360 |
| Apex Legends | 1200–2000 | band under active verification |
| Overwatch 2 | 2400–4800 | band under active verification |
The Apex and Overwatch bands are wider because those scenes publish fewer complete setups — they are under active verification and will tighten as our database grows.
The same aim, three different languages
The striking part is how the physicalmeasurement repeats across titles. TenZ's 320 eDPI in Valorant is 40.8 cm/360. A CS2 pro at 1000 eDPI is 36.9 cm/360. Different numbers, similar wrist behaviour: the professional cluster lives between about 35 and 52 cm/360 once converted. That is why comparing eDPI across games misleads — and why every converter result on SensLib is checked by matching cm/360 instead.
Should you copy it?
Copying a pro's exact number rarely works — their sens evolved for their mousepad size, game role and hours of practice. Copy the bandinstead: pick something in your game's professional range, lock it for two weeks, and re-evaluate. Consistency beats optimisation.
FAQ
Who has the lowest sensitivity among verified pros?
In our database, TenZ's 320 eDPI is on the lower side of the Valorant band — and CS2's band starts even lower physically, near 600 eDPI.
Is higher or lower sensitivity better?
Neither is universally better. Lower sens favours precision at range; higher favours fast turns in close fights. Every documented pro band exists because it works at the highest level.
How often do pros change sensitivity?
Less than you think — most settle within the band and stay. Our database tracks changes with dated updates, and big mid-season moves are rare enough to be news.
