Apex to CS2 Sensitivity Converter
Convert your Apex Legends sensitivity to the exact Counter-Strike 2 equivalent. The tool below is pre-set to this pair and verifies every result with a matching cm/360.
This direction is for Apex players switching to CS2 — for premier matchmaking or the classic 5v5 format. The transfer is the easiest in gaming: the same number, the same DPI, the same aim. Most adjustment is mental, from verticality to CS2's grounded movement.
Physical aim match: 129.9 cm/360 in the from-game = 129.9 cm/360 in the to-game, at 800 DPI. If the two numbers differ, the conversion is wrong — ours always match.
The conversion
Apex Legends and CS2 share the same 0.022 Source-engine hipfire yaw — nothing to multiply or divide: your sensitivity number transfers 1:1 at the same DPI.
Worked example: 1.6 Apex = 1.6 CS2 at 1600 DPI — both are a 16.2 cm/360.
Common values (1600 DPI)
| Apex sens | CS2 sens | cm/360 |
|---|---|---|
| 0.4 | 0.4 | 64.9 cm |
| 0.64 | 0.64 | 40.6 cm |
| 0.8 | 0.8 | 32.5 cm |
| 1.28 | 1.28 | 20.3 cm |
Before you switch: CS2 specifics
Coming from Apex, the first thing to internalise: Apex Legends shares Source's 0.022 yaw for hipfire — CS2 sensitivities transfer 1:1 at the same DPI.
CS2 keeps the classic Source yaw (0.022) — a CS2 sens converts to Valorant by dividing by 3.18182 (Valorant numbers are smaller).
Typical CS2 sensitivity runs 1–2, and professionals play in the 600–1200 eDPI band. If your converted value lands far outside that band, double-check your DPI — the math is only as good as the number your mouse actually reports.
FAQ
Does my Apex sensitivity work in CS2 directly?
Yes — hipfire sensitivity transfers 1:1 because both games use a 0.022 yaw. Enter the same number at the same DPI and your cm/360 is identical.
Why is the ratio exactly 1?
Respawn built Apex's mouse look on the same Source-engine constant Valve uses (0.022 degrees per count). Identical constants mean identical settings.
What about Apex's ADS and optics?
ADS uses its own per-optic multipliers and does not inherit the hipfire conversion — match hipfire, then tune your 1x and scope sensitivities in-game.
