Team Fortress 2 Sensitivity Converter

Team Fortress 2 runs the original Source yaw — 0.022, identical to CS2 and Apex — making it the oldest member of the 1:1 transfer family. The only classic TF2 quirk that matters is making sure raw input is enabled.

Physical aim match: 129.9 cm/360 in the from-game = 129.9 cm/360 in the to-game, at 800 DPI. If the two numbers differ, the conversion is wrong — ours always match.

FAQ

Does TF2 sensitivity really equal CS2 sensitivity?

Yes — both games read the mouse at 0.022 degrees per count. With raw input enabled and the same DPI, 1.5 in TF2 is physically the same aim as 1.5 in CS2.

What is m_rawinput and does it matter?

m_rawinput 1 tells TF2 to read mouse counts directly instead of through Windows pointer settings. With it off, OS acceleration distorts the 1:1 transfer — turn it on before converting anything.

Is TF2's yaw different from CS:GO's?

No — the entire Source family (TF2, CS:GO, CS2, Apex's hipfire) uses 0.022. Fifteen years of shooters share one constant, which is why conversions inside the family are trivial.
